Nolito agrees to join Pep Guardiola's Man City after Euro 2016, claim reports in Spain
Manchester City reportedly have a deal in place to land Celta Vigo forward Nolito - and will beat off Barcelona to his signature.
The 29-year-old has been chased by Barcelona for the last year but now Pep Guardiola has apparently persuaded him to join City instead of his former club.
According to Spanish TV station Tele 5, the winger has reached a verbal agreement with Guardiola to join City after Euro 2016 following an impressive season for Celta Vigo.
Nolito scored 12 goals and laid on seven assists in 29 La Liga games last season and started for Vicente Del Bosque's Spain in their Euro 2016 opening win against Czech Republic on Monday.
Reports earlier this summer had claimed that Nolito was hoping to join Barca, where he feels he has unfinished business having made just two appearances during his one-year spell there back in 2010/11.
But Celta are reluctant to sell to Barca and have instead opened talks with City over a potential deal.
