Roy Hodgson will give Harry Kane another chance to kick-start England’s Euro 2016 campaign by naming an unchanged team to face Wales in Lens tomorrow.
The Tottenham Hotspur striker will keep his place up front despite impressive performances from Daniel Sturridge in training because Hodgson has decided to stick with the same personnel and the 4-3-3 system that brought a 1-1 draw against Russia in Marseilles on Saturday, with Wayne Rooney remaining in midfield.
Hodgson had identified the Wales game as a match in which he may use a 4-4-2 diamond on the grounds that Chris Coleman’s side are likely.
