'MKHITARYAN NOT FOR SALE'

Borussia Dortmund have told Manchester United they will not sell Henrikh Mkhitaryan this summer.

United enquired about the availability of the Armenia international, a key playmaker within the Dortmund team. However, they were told he is not for sale.

United manager Jose Mourinho is known to have a good relationship with the Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke, and was pictured watching Dortmund's game against Hertha Berlin with him in February.

Sources said Mourinho asked Watzke about the possibility of signing Mkhitaryan this summer, but was told they are not prepared to let him go.
