Santos midfielder Lucas Lima says he’s interested in Chelsea transfer

Santos attacking midfielder Lucas Lima has mentioned Chelsea as one of the top clubs he’d like to play for as he considers a transfer this summer.

The 25-year-old Brazil international may be about to play his final game for Santos as he hopes to engineer a move to an elite European side.

Lima shares an agent with big-name Brazilians like Neymar and Lucas Moura, and harbours ambitions to follow in their footsteps by moving to Europe.

‘I don’t want to leave for any club, I want to play for a big team from Europe,’ he told Globo Esporte.

‘There are many…Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea.’

Chelsea have a strong Brazilian contingent at Stamford Bridge, with the likes of Willian, Oscar, Kenedy and Alexandre Pato currently on their books.
